Hello! These photos are from various places around Oregon. Growing up I only went a couple of times but I was given lots of descriptions from my Grandma, and in my childhood imagination I pictured Oregon as a big green forest filled with chipmunks, beavers and mountains. As you can see that’s actually kind of accurate (I even got a chipmunk to eat from my hand)! The rolling green scenery reminded me a lot of the Welsh countryside I grew up in with added dramatic waterfalls and added mountain ranges. I was a bit wistful imagining the kind of idyllic summer childhoods one could have spent in the Oregon forests. At least I can have those idyllic summers now!
I found editing these photos hilarious as I just looked exactly the same in every photo. I have at least 12 white shirts, 7 pairs of white shoes and at least 4 white skirts (mostly pleated and short). Not sure how that happened but the “1940s tennis” look has become my default this summer. I like to call it my “sporty forties” look whilst comments from my male friends include “irrelevant netball weirdo” and “retired PE teacher”. Basically the closest I’ll get to sports luxe either way…
I like your vintage tennis look! you’re adorable! and not at all like a retired PE teacher
