Walt Disney Studios Paris Disneyland

Walt Disney Studios Paris Disneyland

The happiest place on earth! I last visited Disneyland Paris aged 17 for work purposes and I didn’t get to leave the main park, so the Studio Lot was my first stop this time. It’s a bit smaller than the main park and felt a bit more adult as it’s home to all sorts of film production based attractions, as well as a Pixar section and a mock-up lot featuring bits of film set and props. I’m not sure little kids would be familiar with all of the set pieces (Umbrellas of Cherbourg? The Twilight Zone?) but I was in my geek element!

The Pixar area was probably my favourite – walking past larger than life toys and seeing oversized fairy lights was pretty magical, as well as the Ratatouille frontage which perfectly matches the film. Ratatouille is possibly my favourite Pixar film; apart from all the pretty drawings of Paris I completely identify with both the angry female cook and the rat (cooking posts are well overdue on this blog as that’s essentially all I do in my spare time).

Next time I’ll show you my pictures from the Main Park! X

Amazing pictures! I would love to see the corner of Umbrellas of Cherbourg! I have heard from friends that this is a place that amazes adults as well, but somehow I never really had the feeling to go. But after I saw these pictures here and read your description, I may change my mind! I will have to go alone though, cause I am sure no one will show the desire to go there :( But let’s see :) Looking forward to seeing more pictures soon!

sweet LAILA! hi! I’m about to bombard you with comments as I catch up on everything.

Disneyland Paris, how cool! I’ve only visited Disneyland in CA a bunch of times, so it’s so interesting/weird that this park has similar things, but is also totally different. Tower of Terror is awesome, and the Ratatouille area looks so charming. Looks like a super fun day!

    ♥ perfectly Priya
