Say what you like about Disney but they sure know how to do aesthetics! The buildings and colour schemes alone in Disneyland had me in rapture, never mind the extensive sparkly Christmas decorations. And the food – yum!
The park was deserted – we queued for about ten minutes maximum to get in anywhere. However, end of December in Paris is not the most welcoming of climates; we spent most of the day contracting trench foot and shivering in the constant rain. Any dreams I had of showing you my Princess outfit, complete with magical castle and my very own (drenched) Prince Charming, went straight out the (elaborate stained glass) window!
Despite the constant downpour it was a great day. I think all four of us were slightly skeptical going in, but left beaming and enchanted. I particularly enjoyed Space Mountain and RockNRollercoaster rides, and of course the beautiful castle! We’re planning a Paris return next year, but my next Disney park will be a bit more exotic…(hint, hint)
Your pictures are beautiful! I love all the details you captured in your photos.

These photos are so beautiful! I’ve been to Disneyworld in Orlando but never Disneyland Paris… It’s certainly on my bucket list, though. Also, I love your Minnie Mouse ears! xx

Your comment made me smile, even though I’m suffering with a major migraine, so thank you! I love that you are a Samantha ;) I would say I was a little bit like Charlotte and in RL forever looking for my Mr big. Girls, I would say Hannah, hopefully a little less neurotic. I would like to be like Jessa though!
As for Disneyland I have never been, I feel like I was robbed of my childhood. I’m sure if I went I would want the world to be more magical. Wonderful photographs, I’m trying to imagine how grand and amazing the buildings are…
Even though I’m not a die hard Disney fan I want a pair of mickey mouse ears.. seen some on Asos!!

What gorgeous photos! And I hear you – I have my guilty feelings about some of the things Disney does, but there will always be a little bit of their magic in my heart.

Really glad somebody else feels this way – I found a lot of hysterical Disney blogs when I was reading about other peoples trips to Disneyland. I’m a little ore apprehensive I think! X

Such a dreamy place to take photographs, agreed! When I finally visited Disneyland I understood what the hype was all about, all the colors and buildings are so magical. Glad you managed to have fun despite the rain!
