Oh-my-word, I mean, oh my, just like you said, what is this!? I have to say, I am utterly shocked. I am really convinced that education moves the world and that is the example of no-education – maybe I am exaggerating, but I really felt shocked. Worries, at five? “Will I get a job in 15 years?” And if they don’t have many worries, the teacher gives them some. I was a teacher for many years and that was the opposite we used to do at school. Anyway, maybe it’s part of the program, for just one week… who knows. I hope it’s not all they are doing at school! I liked that you shared that with us!

First thing I want to say, but probably shouldn’t, is that I want you to teach me to play the piano, please. Yes? Yes.

Secondly, I really don’t know where education in this country is going. Those wonderful, vibrant young people in lesser developed countries who want an education… oh they make my heart sing. And then we treat it like a horrible, little thing here. I suppose we have become rather complacent, though I have never heard of teaching worry at school. I suppose it helps teachers understand if their pupils are developing certain aspects of their psychology, but I think perhaps it was too early for any kind of worry. Childhood should be playing (that second child pretty much had his priorities right down, didn’t they?) and then some more playing, with learning to read and write thrown in. But mostly playing. I think our education system has been out of whack for quite a while-maybe even since I was there.
