Welcome back to Glasgow! These photos were taken in the beautiful botanical gardens greenhouse. This post represents a first here on Tape Parade…

This is the first time I’ve had too many photos from the same “shoot” to fit into a single post. I hesitate to use the word “shoot” because I never really plan a specific shoot for blog photos – I just trundle my camera everywhere I go and if I spot a nice area, well, that’s just a bonus.

Despite not being planned, I like to think my yellow 50s number goes quite nicely amongst the tropical foliage. We headed over to Glasgow Botanical Gardens without really knowing what to expect – but between the gorgeous sunlight and the colourful blooms it ended up being one of our favourite parts of the whole tour!

These photos feature the majestic Kibble Palace – a huge wrought iron greenhouse used for housing temperate plants. I particularly loved all the Australian and New Zealand ferns, and the fantastic old iron steps – no longer used for any practical purpose, but hidden like a giant a prop amongst the creepers.

Fabulous dress! Love the image with you and the bright yellow (banana?) leaf!
    Lovely greenhouse.
I also enjoyed the “sandwiched” formatting of this post – images & words & images.

The Botanical Gardens in Glasgow are amazing! I also loved your yellow dress, and yes, it goes very well with the plants there! That is a place I would love to visit, it’s really beautiful, through your pictures! I am like you, I always have my camera with me (not mobile). We never know when we will see a very nice thing!

    Hello Laila,
You look gorgeous in that dress, perfect match for those plants and flower.
I didn’t know there was a green house in Glasgow. When is about green houses it always comes to my mind a big Victorian one, I think now it is close.

The photos are really nice, I’m glad that I’m not the only one just taking photos as a bonus, the idea is to enjoy the place as it is, no planned shots.
    xoxo
